Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Voxium, the virtual business phone number service at voxium.co.uk (the "Service"). Voxium is provided by Apexia Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15832514, VAT reg. GB472173102) ("Apexia", "we", "us", "our"). By creating a workspace, buying a number or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you").

1. The Service

Voxium gives you UK telephone numbers and online tools to decide what happens when they are called: forwarding to mobiles and landlines, ring groups, call menus, opening hours, greetings, voicemail (with optional transcription and email alerts) and optional call recording. Calls are carried by our telecoms provider; we configure and route them on your behalf.

Voxium handles incoming calls only. It cannot be used to make outgoing calls and cannot be used to contact the emergency services (999 or 112). Always keep another way to make emergency calls.

2. Accounts, workspaces and your team

  • You sign in with an Apexia account and must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business whose workspace you manage.
  • You can invite other people to a workspace and choose their role. You are responsible for everything done in your workspaces by the people you invite, and for keeping your Apexia login secure.
  • The information you give us about your business must be accurate. UK numbers are regulated, and we may need to ask for business name and address details to allocate or keep a number.

3. Prices and payment

  • Each number costs the price shown on our website at the time you buy it (currently £7.50 per number per month plus VAT). Each number is billed separately: the first month is charged in full, in advance, when you buy it, and it then renews monthly on that date, charged to your card through our payment provider, Stripe.
  • Payments are non-refundable. Releasing a number stops its future payments straight away, but no refund or credit is given for the time already paid for.
  • Forwarding calls to UK landline and mobile numbers is included with no minute limit. Forwarding to premium-rate, shared-cost, personal (070), international or other non-standard numbers is not available.
  • If a payment fails we will try again for a short period; if it still cannot be collected we may suspend your numbers until the account is brought up to date.
  • We may change our prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice ends, and you may cancel before then.

4. No contract — cancelling

There is no minimum term. You can release a number at any time from its settings page, which ends its billing immediately, or cancel a number's renewal from Billing → Card & invoices, in which case it stays live until the end of the month you have paid for. Nothing already paid is refunded.

Numbers are not kept after they are released or after a subscription ends. Once a number is released it returns to the network and may be given to someone else; we cannot guarantee to recover it. We do not currently offer porting numbers in or out.

5. Acceptable use

You must use Voxium lawfully and must not use it to:

  • harass, threaten, defraud or mislead anyone, or to impersonate another person or business;
  • run premium-rate, toll-generating or call-pumping schemes, or anything designed to generate unusual call traffic;
  • record calls unlawfully — if you turn on call recording you must tell callers (for example in your welcome message) and comply with data protection law;
  • break Ofcom rules, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or any other law that applies to you.

We may suspend a number or workspace immediately if we reasonably believe it is being misused, is the subject of a regulatory or law-enforcement request, or puts our network or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.

6. Your data and your callers' data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For information about the people who call your numbers (their phone numbers, call history, voicemails, transcriptions and recordings) you are the data controller and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service, under the data processing terms in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Voxium running, but telephone and internet services depend on third parties and are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance or make changes to the Service, and will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you where we can.

8. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
  • We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for missed, dropped or misrouted calls or voicemails, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period.

9. Intellectual property

Voxium, its software, design and branding belong to Apexia Group Limited or its licensors. Greetings and other content you upload remain yours; you give us permission to store and play them to your callers to provide the Service, and you confirm you have the right to use them.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will email workspace owners about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use Voxium after that means you accept them.

11. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions about these Terms or the Service: hello@apexia.uk.
